Joel Brian Ford, 38, a resident of 581 Vine Street, Fond du Lac, passed away unexpectedly January 16th, 2008 at his home. He was born May 13, 1969 in Bellflower, CA, a son of Fredrick and Joan Brusberg Ford. He married Jill St. Pierre in California. Joel was employed for many years as a heavy equipment operator in California and currently employed by Daanen & Janssen Inc. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #12. Joel was an avid sports fan and loved to play basketball, his Miami Dolphins, and cook, but his passion in life was raising his daughter Jessica. Survivors include his daughter Jessica, his parents, Fred and Joan Ford of Fond du Lac, seven brothers, Michial (Marilyn) Ford of Waupun, Craig Ford of Vista, CA, Scott (Linda) Ford of Random Lake, WI, Jeffrey (Mary Ellen Jacobson) Ford of Mission Viejo, CA, Timothy (Nancy) Ford of Anaheim, CA, Matthew (Holly) Ford of Fond du Lac, and Kelly (Aimee) Ford of Redmond, WA, three sisters, Jana (Mark) Ziegelbauer of Kiel, WI, Traci (John) Hose of Beaver Dam, WI, and Kathleen (Michael) Shultz of DePere, WI. Joel is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Visitation: Visitation will be held on Saturday January 19th, from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at the Zacherl Funeral Home. Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. "Joel will be sadly missed by his loving family." In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be directed for the benefit of his daughter, Jessica, C/O Matt Ford N7526 Sandy Beach Road, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
