Holly Ann Lord, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to all, resident of Fond Du Lac WI, formerly of Oshkosh WI, passed away on January 5, 2019, after a short illness, and a courageous battle to regain her health.

Holly had a successful career in the health services industry, including Job Coach, Activities Director, Facilities Director, Caregiver Support and multiple other positions.

Holly was first a loving Homemaker with a passion for hosting parties and holidays focused on family and friendship. She always made them memorable for her children and family. No one ever left a dinner Holly hosted hungry. Her love of baking and cooking for holidays, family and friends was always displayed with love for all involved.

Holly was involved with many community groups throughout her life including: Fishing Has No Boundaries, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, Youth Softball, Many School Organizations and others including The Smith School P.T.O.

Faced with a potential Smith School Closer in the mid 1980’s due to low attendance, Holly was instrumental mobilizing a door to door survey presented to the school board concluding a majority elderly population soon to be transferred to young families. Holly wanted to ensure a great neighborhood school would remain a part of the Southside Oshkosh community. Today Smith School is a thriving cornerstone of this neighborhood thanks in part to her foresight and action.
